Joxfield
ProjeX - Archives EP 4 – Mystery of The Stoned Pharaoh
The 4th
installment in a series of 9 Joxfield ProjeX archives EP.
The tracks are edited and improved from Joxfield
ProjeX' three disc album “The Pond Intermezzo" (2006), released in an
edition of about 20 which were mostly given away.
Recorded
early summer 2006.
The first
CD of the original album had some vocals based tracks. Four of them are
presented here.
“Dr
Balanova” follows the legend of the Bulgarian doctor who claimed she and her
team had discovered some hallucinogenic substances in the body of a mummy,
substances which where thought to have been brought to Europe and Northern
Africa from South America in the 14th or 15th century.
Here the mummy goes for revenge.
“A Stone
Fell From A Palm Tree” is a homage to Keith Richard’s silliness to climb trees
and fall down.
