Joxfield ProjeX - Stir Fry Fish

Joxfield ProjeX – Stir Fry Fish
Monotone pulsing beats, glissando, free form guitar, electronic electricity, psychedelic rock n roll. Is this Dance Music? Yes, it is! At least the whimsically dynamic duo Joxfield ProjeX’ interprepation of it.

Joxfield ProjeX - Archives EP 8 – Lumbago

Today!

Joxfield ProjeX - Archives EP 8 – Lumbago

The 8th installment in a series of 9 Joxfield ProjeX Archives EP.

Long, slow, monotone - Leaving Home with Lumbago is a radical interpretation and re-make of the Joxfield ProjeX’ track New Frontiers Leaving Home, recorded early summer 2006. The lumbago version was constructed in 2008. It’s constructed in irregular pain because of having lumbago, hence the name, hence it’s content.
Previously unreleased except for a couple of file-give-aways to those who wanted as a Christmas presents through Joxfield ProjeX’ Memories of my Illusions blog in 2008.

Joxfield ProjeX - Archives EP 7 – Dark Castle

Joxfield ProjeX - Archives EP  7 – Dark Castle

The 7th installment in a series of 9 Joxfield ProjeX Archives EP.
Two instrumental tracks from Joxfield ProjeX' three disc album “The Pond Intermezzo" (2006), released in an edition of about 20 which were mostly given away.
Recorded early summer 2006.

Two important tracks for the development of JP’s music; Dark Castle with its twisted rhythms and fake trumpet opened up doors to a lot of people who a year later wanted to contribute to our music on the Number & Letters album. Heavy Oax Missed is wildly improvised over a semi-funk pattern; Janne’s JackJohnsonesque Herbie Hancockian keyboard and Stefan’s hit-it-where-ever-you-can wah-wah excesses.

Joxfield ProjeX - Archives EP 4 – Mystery of The Stoned Pharaoh

Joxfield ProjeX - Archives EP 4 – Mystery of The Stoned Pharaoh

The 4th installment in a series of 9 Joxfield ProjeX archives EP.
The tracks are edited and improved from Joxfield ProjeX' three disc album “The Pond Intermezzo" (2006), released in an edition of about 20 which were mostly given away.
Recorded early summer 2006.
The first CD of the original album had some vocals based tracks. Four of them are presented here.
“Dr Balanova” follows the legend of the Bulgarian doctor who claimed she and her team had discovered some hallucinogenic substances in the body of a mummy, substances which where thought to have been brought to Europe and Northern Africa from South America in the 14th or 15th century. Here the mummy goes for revenge.
“A Stone Fell From A Palm Tree” is a homage to Keith Richard’s silliness to climb trees and fall down.

A new release on Tin Can Music net label ! ! !

Joxfield ProjeX - Insult on the Dance Floor (Tin Can Music IOTDF 2012)

With music still keeping some heavy rough and dark moods the intention of this album is to offer some uplifting lightness and joy to the listeners, bring them loads of swirling sounds that even might bring them up on the dance floor for some horror moves in a futuristic dance exercise.
The music is as intense, electric and beautiful as ever.

This is Joxfield ProjeX’ 15th release and the second on own netlabel imprint Tin Can Music.

Joxfield ProjeX is a Swedish duo.
Yan plays keyboard, program heavy drums, add great sounds and samples here and there.

Joxfield ProjeX as a Starter

Found this one today:
Joxfield ProjeX' track "But Nothing Is Really Useless" (from Bits & Pieces ) opens John Tocher's Sadayatana (066) project "Time Zero"
It's a great 3 hour set of constructive ambience put together in a creative and clever way from tracks, or part of tracks, from various artists (like JoxProX).

"This one fashioned from tracks selected at random 10 minutes before show time. Not random exactly but picked via some secret intelligence built into a program I wrote. My way of collaborating with God so to speak.
I like the way it came out. Hope you do too." J Tocher
